Hi, I’m Maliha. Among other things, I'm an illustrator and printmaker from Karachi, now based in Toronto.

My work has been featured by The Globe and Mail, Toronto Public Library, Union Hotel, Menacerie and more.

I draw people, food, and things from everyday life, plus the stuff swimming around in my head. I like how drawing is a way to play with ideas that are silly or serious (or both). It’s how I slow down, daydream, and learn more about things.

I love making handmade pen & ink drawings. I also work with color pencils, lino and drypoint, digital drawings, and animations.

See more at my Substack, Fallow Fallow, and on Instagram @malihaha.

Find my work in Toronto at Bazaar (306 College Street) and Savile Studio & Market (173 Roncesvalles Avenue).

My book, It’s OK to Be Sad, was published by Illuminated Press in 2022 and 2024.
